This project is based on the improvement and development of the urban area in the town Nazira, Assam. The purpose of the project was to develop drinking water facility, town road and drainage system in order to control the population migration from the town to bigger cities and to reduce health and environmental impact of a poor drainage system.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Analysis of the existing drainage, roads and water supply conditions in Nazira town.
- Identification of loopholes present in the public facilities and demarcated the inputs required which involved suggesting the new ways for water supply and road development in Nazira town.
- Address the sustainability issues including O & M of the assets.
- Detailed cost estimate for the construction of drains and roads in Nazira town, along with providing estimated price for installing and commissioning of 500 LPH and 250 LPH water ATMs .
Submission of Engineering Design and drawings of section of road, drain and culvert along with with layout plan of water-purifying unit.
