The project was proposed to implement an environmentally efficient and financially sustainable Municipal Solid Waste Management System which would lead to significant improvement in the waste disposal and hygiene conditions of the city. It further furnishes an integrated analysis of the collection, transportation, management followed by disposal of waste and addresses the obstacles faced during its due course.
Scope of Work:
- Study & preparation of development plan for the renovation, rectification & improvement of existing processing & disposal facility at Karsada.
- Preparation of RFP/Tender document for finalization of the operator to run the Karsada processing & disposal facility.
- Report on integration, optimization & improvement of on-going C&T operations in the city.
- Study, preparation & modeling of disintegrated waste management system through Bio-methanation or composting.
